A very, very eventful year

To recap the entire 2008 year would be a very daunting task, but I can't pass up the exciting events that not everyone may know about.

We started off 2008 with a move into a rental home owned by some great friends of ours. Thankfully we were able to get out of our apartment and enjoy the 'quiet life' that apartment living denies you of.

Chris rang in the new year by starting a new internship at a law firm only 5 minutes away from our rental home. Recently, as of early December '08, Chris accepted the job offer from his awesome boss, Thomas. We can't thank Benavidez enough for the opportunity. Many of Chris' classmates still have yet to find a place hiring.

In late Dec/early Jan we found our new church- Sovereign Grace of Tucson- and have been so blessed to be a part of the church family. In September we started the new members class, and as of December, we are officially members of Sovereign Grace!

Of course in June we celebrated our 2nd anniversary at the Westward Look Hotel here in Tucson courtesy of our O'Neil parents!
The summer was pretty much all work for Chris, with a nice (and much needed!) vacation in July to Rocky Point with the O'Neil family.

Chris started his 3rd, and last, year of Law School at the U of A in the fall of '08. In September, our landlords put our rental house on the market, so we started looking for a new living space! God graciously provided for us a wonderful 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom house in NW Tucson. It needs some TLC- but it was worth the bargain we will pay for it (due to it being a foreclosure)! We are still waiting to officially sign the papers- and are hoping to get the keys sometime in this 2nd week in January.

The Holidays were well spent in Casa Grande, AZ with both of our parents. We are so blessed to have them near each other! Thanksgiving we had a blast being able to be with extended famiy, and were excited to see family visit from California. Christmas Eve we spent the entire day with the O'Neil side of the family, and Christmas day was spent with the Esposito side. We were definitely greatful we didn't have to split up Christmas day like we had in the past!

Chris and I also celebrated our birthdays- Chris turned 26 on the 17th of December and I turned 24 on the 30th! God has blessed us with a great year, and we can't thank Him enough. May God bless you this 2009!
